Spellman at RSNA: Powering the Future of Advanced Medical Imaging

The Spellman RSNA Exhibit at RSNA was designed to command attention and elevate brand presence on the show floor. Star Inc. created a bold, two-story environment featuring a suspended illuminated halo, architectural red archways, and immersive product engagement zones that reinforced Spellman’s leadership in advanced medical imaging technology.

The Challenge

Spellman came to RSNA with a clear objective: reinforce its leadership in high-voltage power solutions for advanced medical imaging while standing out in a highly technical and visually competitive environment.

The space needed to do three things simultaneously:

1. Command attention from across the hall.

2. Clearly communicate technical credibility.

3. Create an approachable, welcoming environment for meaningful conversations.

The design had to balance engineering precision with brand warmth.

The Solution

Star Incorporated created a bold, architectural environment built around visibility, clarity, and brand dominance.

  • Suspended Circular Halo Signage: A striking overhead red halo with integrated LED graphics established instant recognition from multiple aisles. The circular form reinforced continuity and innovation while ensuring maximum sightline impact.

  • Layered Architectural Volume: A two-story structure introduced dimension and authority. The elevated presence signaled leadership, while the staircase and upper architecture added visual weight and spatial sophistication.

  • Product-Focused Display Zones: Strategically positioned counters and illuminated display stations highlighted Spellman’s power solutions. Clean white finishes ensured the technology remained the focal point.

  • Branded Arch Elements: Red illuminated arch structures framed product showcases, guiding visitors through the space while reinforcing brand identity.

  • Integrated Messaging Walls: Clear, concise messaging such as “Powering the Future of Advanced Medical Imaging” anchored the booth narrative and aligned the architecture with Spellman’s mission.

  • Hospitality & Engagement Counters: Curved reception counters softened the environment and created inviting touchpoints for conversations without interrupting product visibility.

The red-and-white palette delivered bold contrast against the RSNA show floor while maintaining a clinical, high-tech aesthetic appropriate for the medical imaging industry.
