How can my Star Pod be customized?
Our team of seasoned designers and production professionals have been creating custom environments for sixty years. This ability extends to the entire Star Pod family. While you can select and stay with our base model formats and configurations, your Star Pod can be further customized in a number of different ways. This includes:
- Footprint and/or floorplan customizations – Star Pod can be resized to fit your specific footprint needs, and also be combined in clusters of Star Pods for group floorplan layouts.
- Material and fabric customizations – Choose from a variety of custom options with laminate colors and patterns, and fabrics to coordinate with your brand or environment.
- Privacy options – You can select from open, semi-private, private options. See our Customization – Privacy Options section for more details.
- Graphic customizations – with Star extensive in-house graphics capabilities, Star Pod can be customized with additional graphic enhancements. Custom logo and brand imagery, graphic images, are just a few examples of how your Star Pod can be customized.

How do I purchase a Star Pod?
Because of the highly customized nature of this product, our Star Pods are purchased through a proposal process. Proposals are generated for you by our Star sales consultants.
Custom Star Pod Design Proposals
Your Star Pod proposal can include custom design elements beyond the base models. This includes footprint modifications, and build modifications beyond the standard base models features.
Proposal Turnaround Times
A standard base model proposal can be generated as soon as within one business day. If you have a Star Pod custom design reqeust, design modification renderings will usually be included with your proposal. A Star Pod custom design proposal turnaround can vary based on the design request, but typically can be provided within 1–3 weeks.

What happens after I purchase a Star Pod?
Once you’ve signed your proposal for your pod and fulfilled on any payment terms to initiate your project, you Star Pod project can begin. At the start of a project, these things typically happen:
- We assign a project manager to your account and project
- We assign a designer to your project (if needed as part of your Star Pod project)
- We outline a schedule for your Star Pod project, including expected delivery dates
- If you’ve made any custom requests for that require a preview or approval before build, those will be outlined in the schedule and communication as well.
DELIVERY TURNAROUNDS:
Expected delivery is currently 6-8 weeks for our base model configurations. However, delivery turnaround times can vary with each project based on project schedule, and other custom details of each pod project.
How long does it take to get my Star Pod?
Expected delivery for our all of our base model configuration Star Pods is currently 6-8 weeks from the start a project.
Delivery turnaround times can vary with each project based on the project schedule, and the custom details of each specific pod project. Your expected delivery schedule will be confirmed as part of your proposal, and at the start of your project.
Star reserves the right to modify your delivery schedule based on changes to your project or production schedule.

Star accepts check, credit card, or wire transfer as forms of payment.

Payment terms range from pre-payment, to net terms based on credit worthiness.
In addition—for some projects—we also offer valuabe interest free payment installment plans that can be customized based on your budget and payment needs.

Can a Star Pod be used outside?
While you can place your Star Pod anywhere you like, a Star Pod was designed and built to be used indoors.
Star is continually evaluating new product lines that makes sense for our company and our customers, including environments that are suited for outdoor use.

What is your exchange or return policy?
Star Pods are fabricated based on your custom specifications.
Because of the custom nature of each Star Pod order, we cannot guarantee in advance eligibility for returns or exchanges. Your actual return and exchange options will be noted with your proposal. Please note that any approved returns or exchanges do not include custom modifications made or the cost for return shipping, and are subject to a restocking fee equivalent to 20% of the related order value.
